Self-managing a block of flats is in itself a hustle. Having self-control of the flats makes you solely responsible for all administration activities. Homeowners quickly find themselves swimming in deep unchartered waters and facing unknown dangers. The most common complaint by homeowners is that they tend to find themselves out of their depth. In addition to that, home owners lacking professional guidance run the risk of violating laws and regulations from legal to regulatory lock requirements. This is where flat managing agents come in. They save homeowners from these frustrations. Moreover, they come with their own added advantages.
How To Clean Your Skirting Boards
Skirting boards… every house has them, and nearly every house has a dirty skirting board. Why are they usually in bad condition? Well, maintenance isn’t exactly easy. They collect dust and dirt with ease and well, no-one can really be bothered to break their backs to clean them!
All you have to do is have a good-old scrub with warm water and soap. Liquid can also be used, but soap is preferable. Make sure you get the excess water out and wipe the boards thoroughly.
Once the dirt has disappeared, you have to rub the soap off. Do this by using warm water and a clean rag/towel.
If you have hard dirt on your skirting board, then we suggest mixing warm water with vinegar. Only try this after you have attempted cleaning with water and soap. If you dislike vinegar, then you can use bleach.
