Have you ever wondered how your council tax money is spent? The LGA (Local Government Association) represents local councils in England Wales, and have released data on how each £1 of council tax money was spent in 2013/2014.

As the figures show, just under a third of each pound was spent on caring for vulnerable adults. Street cleaning and flood defences had the least spent, with an average of 1.73p of every £1.
